Biography

Before her appointment to the bench in July 2018, Magistrate Cordle served as Judicial Attorney for Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor in the Ohio Supreme Court, Judicial Extern for Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer in the Ohio Supreme Court, Staff Attorney for Judge Richard A. Frye in the Franklin County Common Pleas Court, and Assistant Federal Defender in the Southern District of Ohio and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also practiced at a midsize, Columbus law firm representing insurance companies with respect to coverage for complex litigation.

Magistrate Cordle graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University with an A.B. in Sociology and graduated summa cum laude from Capital University Law School, where she served as an Associate Editor on the Law Review.
