Compact Supervision

Interstate compact supervision is a federally required agreement amongst states for all offenders transferring supervision from one state to another.

Franklin County does not supervise out-of-state offenders, this supervision is provided by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.  The supervision of offenders convicted in Franklin County may be transferred to another state in which they reside.  For these offenders, a Franklin County Probation Officer prepares the appropriate transfer supervision paperwork and continues to monitor the offender through the receipt of updates from the residential state.
