| Q: How often does the Court post new employment opportunities?

| Q: Will my application be considered for job openings other than the one I applied for?

| Q: I have applied for a position with the Common Pleas Court- General Division; will this be shared with the other courts?

| Q: Can I submit a blanket application for any available position?
A: Applications submitted for “any available position” will not be considered. | |  |
| Q: Will my application be considered for future job openings of the same position?
A: Yes, your application will be maintained for six months. | |  |
| Q: If I submit my application online, can I be sure it was received by HR?
A: If you have applied online, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail within 3 hours confirming the position you applied for and the application receipt by the Court. | |  |
| Q: How do I apply for a Judicial Law Clerk / Staff Attorney?
A: Interested applicants may send in a resume and supporting documentation at any time. As positions become available, resumes will be considered. Resumes are retained for one year. | |  |
| Q: I have completed the online application, but I am unable to sign or initial the certification page at the end of the application, how should I proceed?
A: If you are selected for an interview, you will be asked to sign and initial the Certification page. | |  |
| Q: I am interested in two job openings. Do I need to submit a separate application for each position?
A: Yes. The Court posts jobs for several different departments and locations; therefore, it is likely there is a different hiring committee for each position. | |  |
| Q: I've submitted my application resume. What occurs next?
A: All applications and supporting documents are submitted to the appropriate department for screening and review. A member of the hiring committee for that position will then contact the most qualified applicants to request a personal interview. | |  |

A: There are several ways to submit your resume or application for consideration by the Court:
