Pre-Trials
Held 2-4 weeks prior to the scheduled trial date.
Motion Practice
Please drop off a courtesy copy to the chambers. If the motion is of an urgent nature, please bring it to the attention of the staff attorney.
Settlement Conferences
Conducted only upon specific request.
Continuances or Amended Case Schedules
Motions to continue/amend the case schedule should provide the Court with an estimated time frame for the requested extension (eg: an additional 3 months is needed to complete discovery and prepare for trial) so the Court can independently select new dates/deadlines if the request is granted.
Trials
Generally, Jury instructions should be provided in electronic format, either on a CD or via e-mail to the staff attorney, on or before the first day of trial.
