Truancy Outreach Prevention Services (TOPS) is a county-wide pilot program developed to assist school districts in truancy prevention. Referrals can be made to the TOPS Unit at the onset of truancy behavior but before the youth reaches 15 days truant. The TOPS Intervention staff will provide assessment and linkages with community based programming when appropriate in addition to monitoring attendance after the referral.
