Judge
Kim A. Browne was appointed as Judge of the Domestic Relations
Court and Juvenile Branch by Governor Bob Taft in January, 2002.
She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November, 1993, and the
Federal Bar in January 1994. With a background in labor relations,
she is a member of the Industrial Relations Research Association
and the Columbus Area Labor-Management Committee as well as
the Columbus and Ohio State Bar Associations. Judge Browne has
been actively involved as Chair of the U.S. Army Guard Reserve
191st Engineer Co. Family Support Group, a member of Governor
Taft's Pro Bono Implementation Policy Committee, and a volunteer
for the Columbus Bar Association Homeless Project. She serves
on the Luncheon Committee for Directions forYouth, a member
of Women-to-Women Business Networking/Mentoring Program and
has served as a mentor for Fort Hayes Alternative High School.
Judge Browne is an Adjunct Professor at Ohio Dominican College.

Expectations
- Counsel
should be prepared to start court on time, promptly at 9:00
AM.
- Please
treat all of the Court's customers (e.g., counsel, litigants,
witnesses) and staff with courtesy and respect.
- Please
advise clients of proper court etiquette and dress (i.e.,
clients should not wear jeans, shorts, T-shirts, hats or other
casual wear for court appearances).
- Please
turn off or silence pagers, cellular telephones, etc. while
in the courtroom.
- All parties
should check in with bailiff (upon arrival).
- Counsel
must leave a cellular or pager number if they leave the Court
after check-in.
