Prior
to election in 2006, Judge Elizabeth Gill had eighteen years
of litigation experience. Her practice was limited exclusively
to family law matters.
She
also served as a court appointed Guardian ad litem representing
juveniles in family court proceedings. She was a member of
the American, Ohio State, Columbus and Ohio Women's Bar Associations.
She is a member
of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
She
is a past board member of the Alvis House and volunteer at
the Dominican Learning Center.
Judge
Gill also volunteers as a judge for the Lawrence Herman Moot
Court competition with her Alma Mater, the Moritz College
of Law, the Ohio State University.
